You Can Make a Difference
You can make a tax deductible donation in support of one of our projects noted on the “About Us” page or donate to the GLPA in general. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference. Your generous support is very much appreciated and will help us create positive change in the community.
By donating to the GLPA, you will be directly contributing to:
- The preservation of existing, costly infrastructure that can be improved, modified, and in some cases repurposed into viable recreational alternatives in the greater community.
- Ongoing improvements and enhancements such as maintaining fences, building windscreens, adding lighting, purchasing nets, installing benches and more to ensure the integrity and quality of our facilities.
- Other improvements such as picnic areas with seating for players and spectators to relax and socialize or installing shade structures to protect players from the sun during hot summer days.
- Collaborating locally to develop training, demonstrations, and potentially pickleball leagues.
- Potential pickleball tournaments to encourage community involvement and economic growth for local businesses and the community at large.
Donation Methods
Donations in the form of a check or money order can be made out to the Great Lakes Pickleball Association and mailed to Great Lakes Pickleball Association, PO Box 292, Ortonville, Michigan 48462. If donating by mail, please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail with your donation. If you want to donate toward a specific project, please also indicate which one with your donation.
If you prefer to donate via credit card you can do so online below through our secure website. Please note that there is a 2.2% transaction fee charged for every non-Amex credit card donation and a 3.5% charge for Amex cards. As such, the donation actually received by the GLPA will be reduced by the amount of the transaction fee.
No matter what donation method you choose, any donation in any amount is greatly appreciated and you will receive a confirmation notice of your donation for your tax records.
